An out-and-out comedy entertainer, the film is the story of three men who try to woo the same girl. It was jointly produced by Santhanam and Rama Narayan.
Buoyed by the response to the film, the distributor is planning to take the film to more screens from Friday.
"From Friday (Jan 18) shifting the film to bigger screens," he tweeted.
The cameo appearances by Silambarasan Rajendar aka Simbu helped to attract more audience to the cinemas.
"Simbu's cameo also helped the film to great extent. His star status attracted all his fans to flock the theatres to watch the film first-day-first-show", Trade analyst, Trinath said.
