Iddarammayilatho set for May 10 release

Stylish Star Allu Arjun Iddarammayilatho movie has got its release date. Director Puri Jagannadh who is quick in wrapping up of films has announced the movie release date as May 10.

Meanwhile, producer Ganesh Babu expressed his confidence on the film’s outcome. “Iddarammaailatho release may 10 it's going to be no1 film in stylish star career thank u puri anna making this film-:),” tweeted Ganesh Babu.

Allu Arjun will pair up with actresses Amala Paul and Catherine Tresa in the film. Being made on the banner of Parameswara Arts Production banner, Iddarammayilatho has music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Amol Rathod.

A new film "Artha' feauring Shreeki and Shubha Poonja was launched on Monday morning at Kanteerava Studios. A. Hemanth Kumar and Prem are the producers while D.Rajesh who had worked as assistant director with Kiccha Sudeep and K.V.Raju is wielding the megaphone.
Thejaswini Ramakrishnaiah has written the story of the film while the film sill be introducing a new music director Pranav Roy who is brother of famous music director Abhiman Roy. Anand Sherikar is the cameraman.
Talking to media, director Rajesh said that the story if about the journey in fulfilling the dreams of the protagonist. The protagonist of the film wants to complete IAS exams and take up a civil service job.  But his attempts will face adversities, when the heroine chips in with her support.
"The film has five fights and six songs' said Rajesh.

Deepa Sannidhi Dubs for Sakkare

For the first time in her career, Deepa Sannidhi has dubbed in her own voice for the film. In her earlier films "Sarathee' with Darshan, Paramathma with Puneet Raj Kumar and Janoo with Yash, a different voice was used for her role.  But Deepa had requested Sakkare director Abhay Simha and producer Shylaja Naga that she should be given an opportunity to dub the film in her own voice.  Deepa was impressed with her charcterisaion and was insistent on dubbing for the film.
Abhay Simha who finally okayed the request of Deepa Sannidhi says that she has done a great job in dubbing.  "Her interest in dubbing in her voice for the role continued when she stood in front of mike. Her lip sinking and dialogue delivery was perfect' says Abhay Simha in appreciation.
Deepa Sannidhi is also quite happy that she has compelted her dubbing work much to the satisfaction of the producer and director.
Abhay Simha says that Ganesh has to dub his portions after which the other post production work will be done in full swing.  Already the shooting portions have been completed for the film.   Abhay says that he is very happy that  the songs of the film composed by Hari Krishna has been picturised very well.

Charminar Is a Sleeper Hit

R.Chandru's Charminar starring Prem and Meghana Gaonkar  did not make too much of noise when released. But its low production cost and stronger story content has made Charminaar a sleeper hit.
This was disclosed by Gudibande Rajashekhar who is one of the executive producers of the project in a press meet.  The film has run for ten days, and now a beaming Chandru is sharing the happy news of directing the Telugu version of the film in a few weeks.  Telugu actor Naga Chaithanya has been chosen as the hero of the film, while the other selections have to be still made. "We are releasing in another 26 theatres from next week. Since the film has already obtained good opinion, I hope the film get decent shares in all these theatres which are being released now' said R. Chandru.  Chandru said that he is hoping for a long run of the film as could be seen from the increased patronage for the film in many centers.  He said that he will be fully exploiting the film by releasing in B and C centers, though initially It has been branded as a Class film' said R.Chandru.
Chandru also added that the media support for his film had helped many people to watch the film in the first week and now it is only word of mouth publicity which has helped the film.
'I am safe now with the revenues in theatres and satellite rights price obtained for the film. .  Everything that accrues from the sale of satellite rights to the additional revenues in the theatres in the coming weeks is a bonus.  I have already paid my debtors with little profits also' said Chandru.
Prem said that Charminar has brought him good appreciation and also lot of responsibilities.  Meghana Gaonkar said that the press reviews have been of tremendous encouragement to her.

Umesh Reddy Will be Launched on March 4

Story and Script writer Malavalli Sai Krishna will be turning a director in the film "Umesh Reddy' based on the life of the psychopath who had raped and killed 26 women and facing life imprisonment now. Ravi Kale will be playing the title role in the film while Roopika, Sadhu Kokila and Bullet Prakash are in the other cast.
This information was disclosed by the film's producer Adithya Ramesh in a press meet held on Monday night. Roopika and Sadhu Kokila were present in the press meet. Sadhu Kokila is providing musical support to the film besides acting in an important role. M.R.Seenu is the cameraman.
Malavalli Sai Krishna did not feel embarrassed with the fact  that he is taking up filming the biopic of a psychopath for his debut direction.  "We would like to awaken the people to show how ruthless criminals could be.  You cannot say anything about the dangers faced by us in the society unless we make a study of criminals and their pattern of crime' said Sai Kirshna.  He did not agree that making of such films will make a negative impact on the society. He also added that he will not be taking a harsher root to describe activities of Umesh Reddy, but would soften it in narration. 

Priyamani Opts For Heroine Centric Films

With offers for glamorous heroine slowing down, it looks as if Priyamani is opting for heroine centric action films. Already Kannada film director Anand Raj has announced that he will be directing  a full length action film featuring Priyamani for  producer K.Manju. Even in the Telugu films, Priyamani who is also a brand ambassador of  CCL is leaning towards heroine centric films.
Priyamani is now acting under V Samudra's direction in Telugu film Chandee. The shoot of the film commenced on 1st February. By the 16th of Feb the team has shot most of the key scenes. Some fight scenes and heroine-villain confrontations scenes have been shot.
Makers of the film say that Priyamani has an awesome role in this film. The actress is also mastering her skills in fight and horse riding. This action oriented role is very challenging for Priyamani. The next shoot schedule will commence on the 27th of Feb and go on till 15th of March.

Bajarangi Actress Aindrita

Glamorous Aindrita has been chosen to play the lead in Shivaraj Kumar's  double damaka "Bajarangi' directed by A.Harsha.  She will be participating in the shooting of the film in the first schedule itself. Bajarangi will be launched on Feb 20.  Nataraj Gowda is the producer of the film.
A delighted Aindrita told Chitraloka Portal that she was happy to work as a full fledged heroine in a Shivaraj Kumar film.  "Just a few days ago I worked in Soori directed Kaddipudi in a special role. I had a cute role in the film and did a special song in the film.  All my sequences were with Shivaraj Kumar sir. But now in this film I am acting in a full fledged role.  Harsha told me that the whole unit and his friends were happy about my selection of the film.  I will try to give the best for the film' said Aindrita.

Bhajarangi Launched

Century Star Shivaraj Kumar's new film "Bhajarangi' directed by Harsha was launched amidst lot of fanfare, gaiety and enthusiasm in the Maruti Temple in Yediyur cross.  The muhurath attracted lot of fans of Shivaraj Kumar.  Ms Geetha Shivaraj Kumar, the film's heroine Aindrita Ray, artists Shivaramanna,  Sridhar, Bullet Prakash, Umesh and many other artists were present.  The film is being produced by Nataraj Gowda, a realtor and an ardent fan of Shivaraj Kumar.
Just last week Bhajarangi's music work had a pooja in Ashwini Studios which was exclusively reported by Chitraloka Mega Portal.  On Wednesday the regular launch of the film took place. Home Minister R.Ashok held the clap for the film's muhurath.
After the traditional pooja and muhurath, director Harsha said that he had starting working on the story with Nanda Kishor and another story writer.   They thought of several improvements in the script and then chose to tell Shivaraj Kumar who was impressed with the story.  The film's story  runs in two different periods in which some incidents happen a 75 years ago.

The entire shooting work for Doodhpeda Diganth and Bhama has been concluded and the whole unit is quite satisfied about the work done during the period of shoot.  The personalities associated with the film gave their experiences of working in the film and said that they have enhanced their confidence levels about the film.
Director Shekhar who spoke in the beginning said that they wanted to shoot for another three days for the patch work, but the film's editor K.M.Prakash had told them that the present shooting portions were enough to make the film more appealing. "Whatever was programmed was additional sequences and the editor felt that addition would increase the length of the film and does not make any additional impact.  We go by his advise' said Shekhar. He also said that the on screen chemistry between Diganth and Bhama will be the major attraction.  Shooting in different locations of  North India has given some additional pep to the film. The film's screenplay is the highlight and I have selected all the characters of the film who would suit the roles. They have given their best to the film' said Sekhar.

Sekhar says a Pug Dog is the special attraction of the film. ' I am actually thinking of  bringing the Dog during the audio release function.   Now the next two to three months we are planning to complete the post production work and plan for a big publicity' said Sekhar.  He had also lot of praise for his cameraman Gundlupete Suresh, Music director Arjun Janya and his co-director Bahu Bali.

Diganth to Make Debut in Bollywood

Handsome actor Diganth seems to be third time lucky as for as his Bollywood debut is concerned. Now, he will be acting in a film "1920" a sequel to a Horror film which is going on floors in the month of March this year. The photo shoot of Diganth and his heroine Prachi Desai has been completed already. "This is a Horror film' says Diganth.
Diganth says that the film will be shot in London, Rajasthan and Mumbai.  It will be completed in sixty days of shoot.  "The normal practice in Bollywood is that the film director would need a break after fifteen days shoot to see whether any corrections are to be made.  That is the reason why this film will be in four schedules' It may be directed by Vikram Bhat himself or his co-director.  Before selecting me they have seen some of my films and songs.  They have also made a survey on the collections in Multiplexes for my films' says Diganth.

Kranti Veera Sangolli Raayanna 100 Day Event

The  100 days celebration of ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’  which has created  a new box office record in the history of the Kannada film industry will be held on  22nd February at 10 AM, at Shringar Palce Gardens, Bellary Road, Bangalore.

‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’ by producer Anand Appugol, directed by Naganna stars challenging star Darshan, Dr Jayaprada and Nikita Tukral in lead roles. Yashovardhan has scored the music and Ramesh Babu is cameraman. Hari Krishna has provided the background music for the film.  All the industry persoalities are expected to participate in the grand function. .

One of the top collectors in Kannada cinema history – a historical film ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’ completed 100 days in 43 theatres of Karnataka, 75 days in 52 theatres, 50 days in 74 theatres and 35 days in 112 theatres.

The film was released on November 1, 2012 all over Karnataka. This film is dubbed in to various Indian languages and released soon.
